Smoked Salmon Toast
Is this kind of extra to make at home? Sure. But I would consider myself extra and I think this is worth every bit of love.
There honestly isn’t much of a recipe here as it’s a piece of toast with some toppings, but I thought it was too pretty to not get its own feature…
So I present to you, the iconic salmon toast. I never used to love salmon but it has really been growing on me lately. One of my favorite ways to eat it is just like this - smoked and on top of toast or a bagel.
The salmon I used in this post is a smoked black pepper salmon and I love the flavor it gives.
Toast a good piece of sourdough and top with cream cheese, cucumbers, dill, capers, and lemon and viola. You have a masterpiece. Enjoy :)
