Cheeseburger Bowls

A very interesting and slightly healthier take on your average cheeseburger… Top it with your favorite burger toppings and you won’t even notice the bun missing :)

Ingredients:

  • Lean ground beef

  • Lettuce (butter/romaine/iceberg)

  • Potatoes

  • Tomatoes

  • Pickles

  • Cheddar cheese

  • Jalepeños

Directions:

  • ***Start with potatoes as these take longest to cook***

  • Wash and cube potatoes into small cubes

  • Drizzle with olive oil and seasonings of choice (I used garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper)

  • Toss in air fryer at 400ª and cook for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking basket about every 5 min

  • Cook ground beef in a pan on medium heat until cooked through, season to taste (I used a premixed meat seasoning)

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and top with whatever you want; I love doing tomatoes, cheese, pickles, pickled onions, and jalepeños!

  • Optional burger sauce*: combine equal parts mayo and ketchup, add a tbsp of mustard (yellow or dijon), add a splash of pickle juice, diced pickles, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and S&P
